If you’ve ever worried or stressed about sticking to your health and wellness goals when weekends and vacations come around, I’d love to introduce you to the 90/10 rule.

It’s pretty simple.

Basically, the way it works is that as long as you stick to eating well and nourishing yourself 90% of the time, you can feel free to give yourself the flexibility to stray from those plans 10% of the time. Striving for excellence can be motivating, but striving for perfection can be demoralizing. It’s unfair to expect yourself to be perfect 100% of the time. Sometimes wellness means sharing full-belly laughs over a bottle of wine with your girlfriends, eating an ice cream cone and strolling the boardwalk with your boyfriend, or even skipping your morning workout to allow yourself a much needed day to sleep in.

So go ahead, ENJOY YOURSELF and allow yourself to LIVE LIFE.
